Barcelona has officially reached an agreement to retain the services of one of their most promising academy jewels, Ebrima Tunkara.
The highly-rated midfielder has committed his future to the Catalan giants, providing a significant boost to the club’s long-term sporting project.
Midfield Prodigy Commits to Continued Development
Still only 15 years old, Tunkara is widely regarded as one of the standout talents currently developing within La Masia.
His performances have already earned him a call-up to Spain’s Under-16 squad, catching the eye of scouts across Europe.
According to an official statement from the club, the agreement will be formally finalized once he celebrates his 16th birthday on March 10th.

The “Next Lamine Yamal” Stays at Barcelona
The news of Tunkara’s renewal is a major victory for Barcelona, especially as the club prepares to lose another top prospect, Dro Fernandez, to Paris Saint-Germain.
Often compared to first-team star Lamine Yamal due to his explosive playing style and maturity, Tunkara is viewed as a vital part of the club’s future.
The club hierarchy, led by youth football director José Ramon Alexanco, is confident that the teenager has the potential to eventually make the leap to the senior squad.
