Barcelona is reportedly on the verge of parting ways with one of their most promising young defensive talents, as Andrés Cuenca closes in on a move to Italy.
The 18-year-old center-back has been a standout performer for Barça Atlètic and is widely considered one of the top defensive prospects in Spain.
Despite his young age, Cuenca is already a staple in the Spanish national team setup, currently representing La Roja at the U20 level.

Barcelona Secure Future Protections in Andrés Cuenca’s Move to Como
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement is already in place between Barcelona and Serie A side Como.
While the Catalan giants are prepared to sanction the move, they have secured their future interests by including a substantial sell-on clause of over 20%.
The strategic plan for Como, led by former Barça legend Cesc Fàbregas, involves loaning the defender out for the second half of the current season.
This will allow the teenager to gain immediate first-team experience before returning to Como in the summer for a full assessment of his role in the squad.
