Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, forward of Saudi club Al‑Nassr, expressed his sincere joy after being awarded the Best Player in the Middle East at the Globe Soccer Awards 2025 held during the Dubai conference.
Ronaldo, who joined Al‑Nassr on a free transfer during the 2023 winter transfer window, received the accolade in recognition of his outstanding performances and enduring impact on the game in the region.

Speaking after receiving the award, Ronaldo said:
“Thank you to the Globe Soccer organization. It is truly exciting to see so many players, club presidents, and agents here. Thank you all.”
He continued:
“This is one of my favorite award ceremonies because I see many wonderful people, especially my wife, who is always by my side supporting me, my children, my parents, and my teammates.”

Reflecting on his ongoing career, Ronaldo added:
“It hasn’t always been easy to keep playing at this level, but my passion has never faded. I am still motivated to continue my career, no matter where I play — whether in Europe or the Middle East. I always enjoy playing football, scoring goals, and I want to keep going.”
On his personal targets, the five‑time Ballon d’Or winner concluded:
“My current goal is to win every title possible, and I aim to reach the milestone you all know — scoring 1,000 goals — and I will get there, God willing, without suffering injuries.”
Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 956 career goals in official matches for all clubs he has represented and for the Portugal national team, underscoring his status as one of the most prolific scorers in football history.
