Barcelona phenom Lamine Yamal has expressed his desire to remain at the club for the entirety of his career, describing it as the best club and city in the world.
Speaking at the Mundo Deportivo Grand Gala on Monday after receiving the MD Trophy, the 18-year-old superstar reaffirmed his commitment to the Catalan giants, where he is currently under contract until 2031.
A Historic Rise at the Camp Nou
Since making his debut in April 2023, Yamal has amassed 134 appearances for Barcelona, contributing 38 goals and 47 assists.
His current season has been equally impressive, with 13 goals and 13 assists in just 28 matches.
These performances follow a record-breaking 2024/25 campaign where he played a pivotal role in securing a La Liga title, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
The Euro 2024 winner’s individual accolades continue to grow, as he recently became the first player to win the Kopa Trophy twice and secured a second-place finish in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings.

Focus on Upcoming Domestic Success
Despite the individual recognition, Yamal’s immediate focus remains on securing more silverware for the club. Looking ahead to the Copa del Rey quarter-final against Albacete, the winger emphasized the importance of the match, stating that the squad is determined to secure a place in the semifinals and win the trophy once again.
