La Liga title contenders Real Madrid have been handed a timely personnel boost heading into the weekend, with confirmation that Rodrygo has returned to full fitness.
The Brazilian forward was sidelined for Real Madrid’s previous three matches across all competitions after picking up an injury during the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona.
The setback was particularly frustrating for the 25-year-old, as he had recently found a rich vein of form for the Merengues.

Real Madrid’s Coach Confirms Rodrygo’s Availability
However, manager Álvaro Arbeloa delivered positive news during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
When questioned about the attacker’s availability for Saturday’s clash against Villarreal, Arbeloa simply stated: “Rodrygo is back.”
While his return to the squad is official, it remains to be seen whether Arbeloa will name Rodrygo in the starting lineup at La Cerámica or introduce him from the bench as he eases back into competitive action.
