Ronald Araujo Returns to Barcelona Squad for Open Training Session

Ronald Araujo made a welcome return to Barcelona on Monday as the club hosted an open training session for supporters following the festive break.

Araujo Back in Action at Estadi Johan Cruyff

The Uruguayan defender, who had recently been taking some time away, rejoined his teammates as manager Hansi Flick ran a light session at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

It remains unclear when Araujo will feature in competitive matches again, but his presence on the training ground is a positive sign for Barcelona fans eager to see him back in action.

Barcelona are currently preparing for the Catalan derby against Espanyol on January 3, followed by a trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup.

Dani Olmo was also seen participating in Monday’s session as he continues his recovery from a dislocated shoulder suffered against Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish international is likely to miss the Espanyol game but is expected to be available for the Super Cup.
