TheSocccersport’s rating system breaks down every match from WrestleMania 41 Saturday, evaluating each bout to determine the standout match of the night, the weakest performance on the card, and where every other contest falls in between.
WrestleMania 41 Night 1: Ranking every WWE match
1- Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns (Triple Threat Match)
A dream match with three of WWE’s biggest names. This triple threat delivered on every level—drama, reversals, crowd heat, and near-falls. Rollins outsmarted both Reigns and Punk to retain his title, capping off a high-octane match that felt like a true WrestleMania classic.
2- LA Knight Vs. Jacob Fatu (United States Championship)
LA Knight and Jacob Fatu delivered a standout performance at WrestleMania 41 in their clash for the United States Championship. The match was filled with hard-hitting action, as both superstars unleashed their most powerful offense, including several high-impact maneuvers from the top rope. Moments like Knight’s wild BFT counter out of a moonsault had the crowd on the edge of their seats, believing an upset was near.

As the match progressed, the audience became increasingly invested, drawn in by the incredible displays of strength, agility, and the strong in-ring chemistry between the two. While the bout didn’t rely heavily on storytelling, the sheer athleticism and intensity carried it through as a memorable encounter.
In the end, Fatu’s victory marked a significant milestone—his first singles title win—further solidifying his rising momentum and impressive run in WWE.
3- Rey Fenix Vs. El Grande Americano
Rey Fenix stepped in for the injured Rey Mysterio to face Chad Gable — sorry, El Grande Americano — in a high-energy, entertaining bout at WrestleMania 41. Fenix dazzled with his incredible speed and agility, delivering sharp strikes and some breathtaking top-rope maneuvers.
El Grande Americano relied on his power advantage, tossing Fenix around the ring with impactful slams. He also leaned into his heel tactics, using a hidden metal plate in his mask to block one of Fenix’s attacks, injuring Fenix’s foot in the process. In the end, Americano landed two brutal headbutts using the loaded mask to pick up the victory.
While the match was technically strong and featured some impressive lucha libre moments, the crowd’s reaction remained relatively subdued throughout.
