Real Madrid icon Guti has offered candid advice to the club’s rising star Endrick, suggesting that the Brazilian striker should consider leaving on loan in January if his situation at the Bernabéu does not improve.
Despite being included in Xabi Alonso’s matchday squads several times, Endrick has yet to make his official debut for Los Blancos — a slow start that has sparked conversations about his development and future role at the club.

“He needs minutes to grow,” insists Guti
Speaking during a DAZN broadcast (via Real Madrid Confidencial), Guti didn’t hold back in assessing Endrick’s position.
“If he doesn’t get any opportunities between now and December, I think his best option is to leave so he can continue to grow. For a young player, the best thing is to get playing time,”
the former midfielder said, underlining that experience on the pitch is essential for the 18-year-old’s progress.
Guti added that Alonso currently favors more established names such as Rodrygo, Brahim Díaz, and Gonzalo García, who played pivotal roles in Real Madrid’s Club World Cup campaign.
Competition leaves Endrick with a difficult decision
While the Spanish legend acknowledged that football is unpredictable — with injuries and rotations often creating new chances — he emphasized that Endrick cannot rely on patience alone.
Reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid are open to a loan move to help the Brazilian gain consistent minutes, but the player’s camp reportedly prefers to stay and fight for a place in Madrid’s lineup.

A defining crossroad in Endrick’s early career
Endrick’s journey at Real Madrid is still in its infancy, but the coming months could define how quickly he adapts to European football.
Whether he chooses to wait for his breakthrough or seek a temporary escape for more experience, the decision will shape his growth as one of Brazil’s most promising talents.
Guti’s message is clear: talent alone isn’t enough — only regular football can turn potential into greatness.
