Real Madrid has officially announced the date and details of the unveiling of its new player, Álvaro Carreras, who recently joined the club from Portuguese side Benfica.
The Spanish club confirmed that the player has signed a six-year contract, keeping him at the Santiago Bernabéu until June 2031.
Madrid fans are eagerly awaiting the presentation of their new signing, who is expected to solve several problems for manager Xabi Alonso, particularly in defense, especially with the current options of Fran García and Ferland Mendy.
When will Álvaro Carreras be presented by Real Madrid?
The club announced that Carreras will be officially unveiled as a new Real Madrid player on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, making him the club’s fourth signing of the 2025 summer transfer window.
Prior to him, Los Blancos had already completed three signings this summer:
- Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth
- Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool
- Franco Mastantuono from River Plate
The unveiling of the former Benfica player will take place at Real Madrid City at 1:00 PM.
The 22-year-old Spanish defender is set to speak to the media tomorrow after officially signing with Real Madrid, where he will play under Xabi Alonso for the next six seasons.
